SUGAR & MAIDA - WHITE POISONS ?????
R u shocked by the title??I was shocked by a article named as "WHITE POISON" in "THE TIMES OF INDIA" one year back.Initially I couldn't believe this,but in due course of time from internet, health experts,nutritionists I came to know about these things
Pizza,burger, sweets,ice creams, cold drinks,fast foods,samosa,Momos,cakes,pastries,biscuits......... a neverending list.,We are sorrounded by these foods prepared mainly from SUGAR&MAIDA.
let's know about their harmful effects and possible ways to prevent them.
1.SUGAR:-
Let me clear first that we are talking about Refined table sugar.It's a favourite thing of most of us.starting from tea,coffee,biscuits,pastries,cakes...... Every where there is plenty of sugar.
According to FDA daily intake of males should not exceed a maximum level of 36 grams(9tea spoons/2.5 table spoons)& in females 24 grams(6tea spoons/1.5 table spoons).
**********But It's shocking to know that in indians daily intake of refined sugar is around 100 grams as it is present in most of our foods.
Harmful effects:-
1.It's a highly addictive substance. Everytime u consume this it makes you happy due to Beta Endorphins rush& next time you need more dose for same amount of pleasure.
***##It has been prooven that human brain reacts in same manner to both sugar&COCAINE.
2.It has zero nutrients and have only empty calories which makes you fat.
Excess consumption leads to obesity&weight gain
3.Sugar has high glycemic index so it causes insulin spike which is dangerous and a potential cause for type 2 diabetes.
4.supress immune system&promote inflammation
5.Excess consumption leads to pimple&Acne.
6.Causes premature aging
7.promote growth of unhealthy bacteriaµorganisms
8.sugar rich foods promote tooth decay
9.Decreases the cognitive ability in children.
10.It a favorite food for your cancer

How is it prepared?
It is prepared from wheat flour by removing essential nutrients like:-Fibres,proteins & adding chemicals like ALLOXAN&BENZOYL PEROXIDE to make it silky
How it is harmful?
1.ALLOXAN destroys beta cells of pancreas &causes inflammation of these cells which releases insulin.
It causes diabetes
2.BENZOYL PEROXIDE promotes diabates.These chemicals need many vitamins&minerals for their metabolism .which in turn makes our body deficient in essential nutrients .
3.It has glycemic index 75 so it spikes insulin very rapidly to uptake the sugar.

1.Try to avoid foods rich in maida and sugar
2.Wheat flour is a safe replacement of maida.U can go for foods derived from Grains which are not much refined.
3.Instead of refined sugar you can go for natural sugars like HONEY,FRUITS,JAGGERY ..etc
4.Exercise is a great option to utilize these empty calories
5.Avoid packed&processed foods.
Add fruits&vegetables to your diet
Believe me,By these minor changes in your diet and life style you will get significant results.
I know that It's not easy to eliminate such foods from our diet,but we can reduce the consumption. It's absolutely ok if u eat pizzas,Cakes .. once or twice a week.Don't make them a habit.
Don't costume them as major meals like:-breakfast, lunch&dinner as they are ABSOLUTELY ZERO in nutrients
